Uprate the suspension (coil springs) of cars, light vehicles and vans when towing caravans, trailers and vehicles with heavy loads. Helps to prevent bottoming out whilst towing (spring over compacting), which also helps with light steering, the headlight from becoming misaligned and stops suspension sag. Supplied with two cable ties for securing each spring assistor to the suspension coil. Fitting instructions: - Safely jack the rear of the car off the ground ensuring all the weight is off the suspension springs, measure the distance between the spring coils and refer to the table on the side of the box. - The spring assistor should be fitted in the centre of the spring (to to bottom). Please ensure the springs are free from dirt, please clean with soapy water prior to fitting. - Place the spring assistor in freshly boiled water for 5 minutes before fitting to the suspension spring, this will soften the spring assistor enabling easier fitting. - Slide the spring assistor between the suspension coils, rotate the spring assistor to move it to the desired position. Once it's in place attach the cable tie supplied through the small loops on the side of the spring assistor. Tighten the cable tie to secure the spring assistor in place (do not over tighten). Please note: Do not lower the vehicle down until the spring assistor have had time to cool down and harden up (it is recommended to leave the vehicle for at least 30 minutes).
