XX amžiuje suprojektuotas dviaukštis senoviškas autobusas B tipo Denis pakeitė iki jo ilgai vyravusius "X tipo" autobusus. Autobusą suprojektavo žymus LGOC inžinierius Frank Searle. Šie B tipo autobusai turėjo 34 sėdimas vietas: 16 autobuso viduje ir 18 - antrame, atvirame autobuso aukšte. Tai vienas pirmųjų masiškai gaminti pradėtas autobusas. 1911 metais šis autobusas pirmą kartą išvažiavo į gatves ir ėmė vežioti miesto gyventojus.
